Who we are
This website is run by Vincent Ullens, a sole trader trading as DAZZLE Audio. For privacy questions contact contact@dazzleaudio.co.uk.
What we collect and why
If you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, company (if given), budget range (if given) and project details. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and discuss the project. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Enquiries sent through the contact form are delivered by Formspree, Inc., a US-based service that processes them on our behalf under its data processing terms. Our email is routed by Cloudflare and stored in a Google mailbox. These providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep general enquiries for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact with you, then delete them. Spam and unsolicited messages are deleted sooner.
If we go on to work together, contracts, invoices and accounting records are kept separately, for as long as UK law requires (for example, tax and accounting rules).
Embedded videos
Our films are hosted on Vimeo. On project pages, nothing loads from Vimeo until you press play. On larger screens, the homepage plays a short muted preview from Vimeo automatically. We always use Vimeo’s “do not track” mode, in which Vimeo does not set its analytics cookies. Vimeo’s security provider may set a short-lived, strictly necessary bot-protection cookie (__cf_bm, 30 minutes). Vimeo still receives technical data such as your IP address and browser details when a video loads. See Vimeo’s privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across sites. Fonts are served from our own website, not from Google.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it.
To make a request, email contact@dazzleaudio.co.uk and tell us what you would like us to do. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting. We will reply within one month. Making a request is free.
Where we must keep some records by law (for example, invoices), we will tell you what we cannot delete and why.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
